Biography
I first burst onto the London Drum & Bass scene in the year 2001. I had dreams of being a club promoter and event organiser, something which my father had been involved in throughout his life.
My first taste of event promotions, was in late 2001, when i joined forces with a friend of mine in order to hold an event at a disused council building in Balham. We made flyers in Microsoft Word™ and cut them out with scissors in order to get flyers out to the general public.
Our first event was a success and we learnt a few valuable lessons from the experience, especially with regards to DJ's and MC's attitude towards the illegal party scene and how to deal with the attitudes that we were encountering from those we promoted to.
In 2002, we took on a fortnightly residency at a 200 capacity club in Camden. We used our passion for Drum & Bass as the reason for the events existence. We felt that we had made it to where we had wanted to be in the scene!
Also in 2002, i joined a small firm known as Dekefex. This firm held big Drum & Bass raves, named Dekefex, at the Mass nightclub, as well as weekly Thursday events at the Dogstar pub in Brixton. It was while in the company of Dekefex that i became responsible for warming up the sound system before the event opened it's doors to public.
In 2003, i began to really get noticed. With bookings at top Drum & Bass nights all around London, Brighton and Leicester. I also had a weekly residency on a top Radio station, Ruud Awakening 104.3fm, this helped a lot.
Come 2004, i focused more on being a club promoter again. Rollercoaster became a regional leader, packing out the Mass nightclub in Brixton, as well as holding collaborations with leading Drum & Bass brands. The most notable was Telepathy, with whom we did an event with in Leicester Square, Central London.
Late 2005, i was picked up by One Nation, who made me a resident at their massive raves at Brixton Academy, which led on to performing at their festivals held in Winchester and Alexandra Palace.

And now?
At the time of writing, i'm pushing my name out there in the South London area along side my live band, The Farmerz. My style of MCing is even more finely tuned and leaning towards a Ragga emphasis, with strong focus on various aspects of what i see in the world around me and social issues that affect us on a daily basis.
I'm currently a resident MC at top clubs in the South London area, such as o2 Academy, Ministry of Sound, Coronet and Nsomnia.
My overall aim, is to use the influence i have in my local scene to help people become more aware of the choices they have and how the choices that they make impact the world around them, even if not made conciously. I'm a trained NLP Coach, so psychology makes up a massive part of what i do!
